Assessors
Assessors are appointed by the organisation applying for a CEEQUAL Award and are either a current member of the project or contract team, or are subsequently contracted in to the team to perform the CEEQUAL Assessor role.
However, CEEQUAL can also put you in touch with trained Assessors who could be sub-contracted into the project contract team. When requested to do this, we normally seek interest from CEEQUAL Verifiers (who are also trained Assessors) or experienced Assessors whose skills and experience we are aware of.
Please contact Melanie Manton if you would like us to help you find an Assessor in this way. Note that fees for the contracted-in Assessor's services will be a matter of individual negotiation between you and the chosen Assessor.
The nature of the CEEQUAL Award Scheme means that Assessors usually have experience and interest in either civil engineering and construction or environmental issues, and a knowledge base in either of these areas will be helpful in the course of an Assessment. However, there is no need to be an 'expert' in either of these areas to go through the training course and be a successful Assessor.
Note: All Assessors must be CEEQUAL-trained before a CEEQUAL Assessment can begin.
Version 5 Update e-Learning course
Version 4-trained Assessors who have not attended a physical or online update course, or not yet used the new e-Learning version of the course; need to complete the free CEEQUAL Version 5 Update e-Learning Module on the Online Assessment Tool's Document Library. It should take about ninety minutes, and has received some very positive feedback from users so far. Being trained on Version 5 either directly or via this update module is a mandatory requirement before you can apply to assess a Project on Version 5. The e-Learning module is also available to Version 5-trained Assessors, to provide a useful refresher when needed.
Only Assessors trained to Version 5 receive the Version 5 documentation, which is not available to download from this site.

How do I become a CEEQUAL Assessor?
A member of a project or contract team needs to attend the two-day CEEQUAL Assessor Training Course appropriate to the type of assessment to be undertaken – Projects or Term Contracts. Participants must pass the test at the end of the course. Attendees who pass the end test will become certified CEEQUAL Assessors for Projects or Term Contracts as appropriate, and receive an appropriate signed certificate.
For Projects
