CEEQUAL hosts a seminar at Ecobuild

Ecobuild, the UK's major event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment took place from 2 nd to 4th March 2010 at Earls Court in London.

As part of Ecobuild fringe, CEEQUAL hosted a seminar, introducing the benefits and value of a CEEQUAL assessment.

Roger Venables, Chief Executive of CEEQUAL, explained what CEEQUAL is, how it works, its industry-wide adoption, and outlined the benefits and value in using CEEQUAL on civil engineering and public realm projects, including infrastructure associated with building developments.

The presentation was followed by a lively discussion as users of the scheme were given the opportunity to share their experiences and discuss how the CEEQUAL assessment had helped their project teams achieve best environmental practice.
