CEEQUAL Seminar in Belfast, 8th December 2010

At this ICE Northern Ireland event, CEEQUAL Chief Executive Roger Venables gave an update on CEEQUAL’s progress so far, including:

• the Online Assessment Tool introduced in August/September
  
• the development of a Term Contracts Version, for both maintenance and collected small works
  
• the development of an International Version for use outside the UK & Ireland, alongside development of similar tools in Australia and the USA
  
• the start of development of Version 5 for Projects
  
• the introduction of Outstanding Achievement Awards.
  

In addition, CEEQUAL Awards were presented to the project teams of the Belfast Streets Ahead public realm project, the Granville Industrial Estate, Sea Defence Upgrades Londonderry-Coleraine and Whitehead to Larne, and the Newmarket and Linenhall Street Environmental Improvements project.

The seminar took place on Wednesday 8 December at the Construction Employers’ Federation in Belfast.
